About The Green Cow
The Green Cow offers wholesome, competitively priced fresh food and beverages in a warm and friendly environment close to transportation hubs: trains, buses and ferries. The location is convenient for local residents to meet, eat and watch the world through the large windows overlooking the Statue of Liberty and New York City.
Eat In or Take Out
The Green Cow offers seating, take-out, and delivery to your home or office. We also offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner Monday through Friday, as well as brunch items on Saturday and Sunday.
Choices
The Green Cow makes available vegetarian fare ("Green") as well as conventional meat items ("Cow"). Regularly featured menu items include large and individually sized brick oven pizzas, salads, sandwiches, wraps, charbroiled burgers and steaks (vegetarian and beef), risotto, polenta, couscous, desserts, teas, coffees and espresso. The menu changes seasonally and includes additional items for brunch such as our "create your own" omelet station.
Stations
The brick pizza oven is the focal point of The Green Cow that also includes open workstations where diners can see their meals being prepared, making the experience more interactive. The space is divided into a series of stations that are clearly identified so that the diner can quickly get to where he/she wants to be. In addition to the brick oven, stations include a fresh pasta station, salad station, sandwich/wrap station, and a grilled sandwich and entree station. Sushi, sandwiches, salads and parfaits, wrapped and ready to go are featured in refrigerated showcases as well as many gourmet products that you would find in some of the famous markets of NYC.

Our Company
The Green Cow Group, L.L.C. opened its doors of its Green Cow Gourmet Market and Catering Company in the Liberty Towers, which sit along the "Gold Coast" waterfront section of Jersey City, on June 12, 2004. The Green Cow is a neighborhood eatery with take-out, seating, delivery and catering services, and offers a wide variety of healthy and interesting ready-to-go foods and beverages. The cuisine is conventional as well as vegetarian with an absolute emphasis on freshness and high-quality food. The eatery is a place where people can come to relax and enjoy a meal, pick up meals for home or office, or purchase light refreshments made and packaged fresh daily all for less than the cost of a restaurant meal.
